Direct print module DPM III xi
|
After very successful 5 years on the market of direct labelling, we will introduce coming September the successor of the direct print module series DPM III i.
The model series 'DPM III xi' improved heavily in the print mechanics and is a further proof for our quality consciousness regarding our distributors and customers.
The most important modifications of DPM III xi
Increased print and back speed compared to DPM III i.
Different parts of the drive were strengthened to keep up with higher speeds (e.g. larger ball bearing with belt drive of printing carriage)
Instead of the PCMCIA memory card the more economical Compact Flash card is used now.
For special applications an I/O plate with 24 V supply and special options is available. Output I, Output II and Input I are identical to standard. The I/O-24 connector is 15-pole and provides user-sided 24 V for pins 5, 10, 15 for supplying the sensors (max. 200 mA). Pin 1, 6 and 11 are equipped with GND. In case of using I/O-24 signals, no galvanic separation exists.
From the outside the 'xi device' looks the same as the forerunner model. Only the lateral plugs at the print mechanics were changed, so that an old electronics cannot be attached inadvertently.
No compatibility to the previous DPM III i, i.e. the old electronics cannot be attached to the new print mechanics and in reverse the new electronics cannot be attached at the old print mechanics.
The 'xi version' will be available starting from 01 September 2007. For orders of the predecessor 'DPM III i' we will grant a transition period of half a year. The spare parts lists will be available from 01 October 2007.
The new article numbers for the xi modules consist of the previous numbers and an 'A':
